Please comment on what you feel about this image .. This is part of first exercise in a book on photography that I am reading. The idea is to look at day-to-day things with a new thought ...

To me it looks like blood coming out of some flesh.. the image with its high contrast red color is kind of disturbing to me. Not sure if this is the kind of comment you were expecting.
I'd say it's something like a huge nest of alien eggs... fleshy red eggs, probably pulsating... the sticky liquid is adding to the effect.
